Growing like crazy!

We went for our final weekly ultrasound yesterday. We have seen the twins every single week since I was 5 weeks pregnant. We will not go back for another 4 weeks...it will be the longest 4 weeks of my life! LOL At 5 weeks, we saw the sacs before we could even see the babies. We went back and they were tic-tacs, then gummy bears, then teddy bears...then real, live babies! They were sucking their thumbs yesterday and we were able to turn on the doppler and actually hear their hearts beating. It was SUCH a cool feeling. I lost it as soon as I heard it the 1st time...cried like a baby.
Here are the pictures from yesterday...and a short video.

What more could you want?

The Tooth
By: Anna
It is the 154th day of school and I do not have a...
Wiggly Tooth! The perfect place to loose a tooth is school because...
(note the thought bubble telling her to get-up out of bed and go to school) haha I can show it to my mom! I already have lots of money, but I want more for...a place called Heart-Wood. Their people are very weak and poor. That is why I want the tooth fairy to come.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all had this kind of spirit for giving?
What more would you want as a parent? Lord, please help me to instill in my children a spirit for giving that surpasses their desire to have things for themselves.

With every good there is a bad, and with every bad there is a good!

The bad-
Well, I will start with the bad. It looks like our house is no longer under contract. Something happened with the buyer and all of the details are a bit shady. I do know that MY GOD is able and I know that all will work out in the end. God is just waiting for the perfect time. We will know all of the answers one day.

NOW, on to the more important things...

THE GOOD!!!
these little guys are doing GREAT! growing like little weeds!!!

SOLD!

Thank GOD!!!!! Our house has sold! There are TWENTY ONE houses on the market in our neighborhood....and it SOLD!!! We are beyond excited! The inspector came yesterday and the appraiser in the morning...and it looks as if things are moving along smoothly. Anything could happen- so please pray for a smooth process.
We went to KY this past weekend and found several homes that we really like- and are still in a decision making process about which one to make an offer on. I know that everything will all work out in the end!
I am SO excited...my Mom is coming to Bham tomorrow to come to my ultrasound on Friday morning! I can't wait! She will get to see her grand babies for the 1st time! Maybe they will do something really cute...but to me, just their little beating hearts is the most GORGEOUS thing I have ever seen in my whole entire life.
I will post some pics on here tomorrow!

of tattoos and such...

During restful reading today, Jack and Anna were behind me having an all too consuming conversation. It was truly hillarious and Jack had the most sincere tone in his voice while retorting his opinion to Anna. I had to cover my mouth and look away. I then decided to transcribe what I was hearing. Reason number 1,000,991 why I love my job:

Anna: My dad tricked me and said that he wanted to get a tattoo.

Jack: He didn't really though, right?

Anna: No, a permanent tattoo is something that has needles and requires ink.

Jack: I would NEVER get one of those.

Anna: Yeah, me neither.

Jack: I would never get one because that would be disobeying God.

Anna: NO, it's not...it's not disobeying God.

Jack: Yes, it is, it says it in the Bible. It does, really, it does.

Anna: It is not a "God rule" to not get one , it is a "government rule".

Jack: No, God doesn't want you to get tattoos.

Anna: It is not God's rule, but I wouldn't get one.

Jack: Nope, me either

...and that was that.
